As Technical Marketing Manager, you will be focused on translating complex KNX technology and building automation solutions into clear, compelling messaging for customers and partners. This includes creating technical content, supporting product launches, and collaborating with engineering and sales teams. The role also involves understanding customer needs and market demands to develop "solution recipes" using KNX products and other technologies
Here's a more detailed breakdown of the responsibilitie
- Content Creation: Develop technical white papers, product documentation, blog posts, website, videos, sales collateral and other marketing materials to educate and persuade technical audiences about the benefits of the Zennio solution. Work in conjunction with the Zennio HQ marketing team on creating digital and print advertising for the USA market.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with product management and engineering to design and document KNX-based solutions in the USA that address customer needs.
- Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Support: Create materials and presentations to support pre-sales efforts, as well as post-sales documentation and training for customers.
- Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of KNX and building automation technology, its applications, and related technologies. Ability to communicate the Zennio solution to internal and external audiences.
- Communication and Collaboration: Act as a bridge between engineering and marketing, ensuring that technical information is communicated effectively to the target audience. Serve as a subject matter expert during product launches and events.
- Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, customer needs and competition, related to KNX, identifying opportunities for new products and services.
- Partner Management: Build and lead a Zennio USA Partner program with support for training, product and marketing.
- Demand Generation: Develop strategies to generate leads and drive sales for KNX products and services. This would come from digital campaigns, as well as tradeshow events.
- Product Launch Support: Assist in the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring that technical information is readily available to customers and partners.
- Budget / Forecast: Responsible for the Zennio USA marketing budget and forecasting, that includes advertising, direct sales, events and more.
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
With a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Computer/Technical, you have at least 4 years of professional experience with technical product/solutions in a marketing role. You demonstrate marketing expertise with previous experience with Product Marketing. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations, and legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
It would be great if you also have knowledge/experience in:
- PipeDrive CRM, and/or Salesforce CRM
- Software, IoT, and networking experience
- Experience in High-tech industry
- Special consideration will be given to candidates with building network and automation hardware and protocol knowledge.
